    There's no real reason to leave a detailed review here. You know what you're getting in a local, divey burger/slider spot.

    The burgers are slightly bigger than sliders, and prepared in a very similar fashion. Not as good as Telway in my opinion, but then again, who is? The onion rings were pretty tasty, too. A little bit pricey, and they only accept cash, but the service is polite, fast, and efficient.

    They also have breakfast options and a more extensive menu than most slider joints, so that's a bonus. Plus, they're open 24 hours. That's an awesome thing.

    The best 50's style sliders The chocolate peanut butter milkshake is also a must-try. Don't believe the Downriver Dirtbag 1-Star reviews. Or the 1-Star reviews from Snobby Oakland county asshats with glasses. These ladies are funny and work their asses off, and the food is delicious  and clean.
    I only eat the cheeseburgers with fried onions, fries, and milkshakes. What else would you need at Carter's?!

    Signs Signs everywhere Signs Cash Only, No Talking on Cell Phones while ordering,  No Refills on Any Drinks, Not Responsible for Customers Falling off Stools and many more, just to order you gotta read all the signs. She got 3 Triple Damn Sliders me a Coffee and Managers Special be Double Damn Cheeseburger with Bacon hey lady make mine a Triple too. Folks you should never eat a single patty on a bun that hides all the flavor,  the perfect Bun to Meat ratio be 3 Burger Patties to one Bun. So now you know how to eat Carters this location open 24/7 has many other goodies and breakfast too.     24hr side the road joint. Decent food and a funny overnight cook/cashier/host/waitress (All 1 person)... when I was told it's a cash only joint I got curious. These type of places are typically a little gem from the history chronicles of the city with good food that's fast. Diner style but small building. I did enjoy the breakfast sandwich thoroughly. My buddy enjoyed his chilli cheese fries. So no complaints. Also they have Pepsi products and not that nasty Coke... would I do it again? Yes.

    They also have this thing with charging a done in price versus a to go price... Never saw some thing like this but I still ordered and was glad I did.

    Ooohhhhhhh and they have a jukebox. Good music while waiting is a must. I'm totally a music head.

    Cindy gives the best service. We love seeing her! She always knows what we want when we come in at 2am
